PAYMENT

Payment can be made 24 hours a day online using our secure credit card payment facility.

We accept MasterCard and Visa credit cards. We are unable to accept American Express at this time.

DELIVERY (UK ONLY)

Our products are sent via our prefered courier service that delivers between 9am and 5pm weekdays. All deliveries require a signature so if you are unable to take delivery in person then please contact us with an alternative address and contact telephone number. In the event of nobody being in when your goods are delivered Parcel Force will either deliver it to a neighbour or leave you a card with details of how to collect it from your local depot.

Delivery times are dependant on where you live and our stock levels, although we do our best to try and minimise delays in our delivery service we cannot guarantee delivery times. Delivery normally takes 3 - 5 working days (excluding weekends and public holidays). No orders will be received in the period between Christmas and New Year. Delivery costs £4.50 to England, Scotland & Wales (UK Mainland only excluding Scottish Highlands), no matter how large your order.

Be aware that in some rare situations products may be shipped to you in instalments.

For Scottish Highlands, UK Offshore destinations or destinations outside the UK Mainland please email us with details of the clock you would like to purchase and we will calculate postage.
For Christmas delivery please allow for a much greater delivery time.

DAMAGED AND FAULTY PRODUCTS

In the unlikely event that your product has been damaged in transit please contact us by the end of the next working day by calling 01691 679994 and asking for Website Returns. Keep all of the packaging for inspection by the courier. If these steps are followed we will replace your damaged clock as soon as possible.

Should your clock develop a fault please call 01691 679994 asking for Website Service. A member of staff will try to assist you over the phone to rectify the problem, however if the problem appears to be more serious we may ask you to return the clock to us.

In the event that the item is faulty we will refund the cost of return postage up to £9. If we ask you to return the clock for repair or exchange an authorisation code will be issued to you. Please make sure this authorisation code is sent with the returned product, as all products received without an authorisation code will be automatically disposed of at our warehouse and no exchange or refund will be given. Once an authorisation has been issued and your product has been received we will endeavour to repair or replace it as soon as possible.

OUR RETURNS POLICY

Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any of our products within a period of 7 working days, beginning on the day after the day that the item was delivered.

To return a product, please pack the relevant item and contact us so we can issue you an authorisation code. Please make sure this authorisation code is sent with the returned product, as all products received without an authorisation code will be automatically disposed of at our warehouse and no refund will be given. For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service. Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the products to us. You will also be responsible for ensuring the product is kept in the original condition you received it in, this includes making sure the product is well packed and insured during transit on its return to us. On receipt of the product with an authorisation code we will refund the cost of the product purchased, but we will not be liable for any of the carriage costs.

CANCELING ORDERS

If you wish to cancel an order please email us at sales@newgateclocks.com, clearly stating who you are and what items you wish to cancel. We cannot cancel orders once they are dispatched.

THE NEWGATE GUARANTEE

The movements in all our clocks are guaranteed for 12 months from the date of purchase, this does not include damage caused by misuse, tampering or battery leakage.

MISCELLANEOUS

We shall have no liability (including liability for negligence) for the acts or omissions of telecommunications service providers or for failures of, or faults in their networks and equipment.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate anyone from using our site who is deemed to be using the site fraudulently or who has failed to make any payment to us when due.

Images are representations only; colours may vary. All measurements should be accurate; Resin products are prone to shrinkage and the measurements for these products should be taken as approximations.

These Terms & Conditions may be altered at any time. Your continued use of our Site constitutes your acceptance of the Terms & Conditions and any changes that have been made to them.
